ASCA Observations of Three Shakhbazyan's Compact Groups of Galaxies

[摘要] X-rayobservationsofthreeShakhbazyan'sCompactGroupsofGalaxiesarepresentedforthefirsttime.ExtendedX-rayemissionwasdetectedfromSCGG202andSCGG223with0.5–2keVluminosityof1'1042ergs−1and3'1042ergs−1(forH0=75kms−1Mpc−1),respectively,whilenosignificantemissionwasdetectedfromSCGG205withanupperlimitof0.7'1042ergs−1.TheX-rayspectraofSCGG202andSCGG223canbedescribedwiththin-thermalplasmaemissionwithatemperatureofabout1keV.TheX-raypropertiesofSCGG202andSCGG223areingoodagreementwiththoseofotherknowngroupsofgalaxies,provingthephysicalnatureoftheirgrouping.
