Moderate Dispersion Spectra of NH2 in Comet Hale-Bopp: Analysis of Population Distribution in $widetilde X^{2} extrm B_{1}(0,0,0)$ State of NH 2

[摘要] Wecarriedoutmoderate-dispersionspectroscopicobservationsofcometHale-Bopp(C/1995O1)on1997February25,inordertostudythefinestructureoftwoNH2emissionbands,$$widetildeA(0,9,0)-widetildeX(0,0,0)$$and$$widetildeA(0,8,0)-widetildeX(0,0,0)$$,whichwasresolvedinourspectra.Wecomparedtheobservedfinestructurewiththatofthemodeledspectra,whichwerecomputedbasedonthetransitionprobabilitiesofNH2betweenthe$$widetildeA(0,v^{prime}_{2},0)$$and$$widetildeX(0,0,0)$$statesdeterminedbyourselves.FromacomparisonbetweentheobservationandthecalculationsweconcludedthatthepopulationdistributionoftheNH2inthe$$widetildeX(0,0,0)$$groundstatecanbeapproximatedbytheBoltzmanndistributionatatemperatureof60K.
