Pulse-Phase Resolved Spectroscopy of Hercules X-1 with ASCA
[摘要] WeanalyzedthearchivaldataoftheX-raypulsarHerculesX-1,observedwithASCAin1994Augustand1996AprilduringtheMain-HighStateofthe35-dcycle.Thecontinuousspectrumintheenergyrangeof0.5–10keVisfoundtohavethreecomponents,i.e.,power-law,softblackbody,andhighlyabsorbedpower-law.Inadditiontothe∼6.5keVironK-shellline,weconfirmedtheexistenceofabroademissionfeaturearound1keVthatmightbeattributedtotheironL-shelllines.Thelinefeatureat∼6.5keVwasresolvedintotwonarrowlinesat6.4keVand6.7keVfromtheASCA/SISspectrum.Weperformedapulse-shapeanalysisinseveralenergybandsandpulsephase-resolvedspectroscopy,andfoundthatasinusoidalsoftpulseconsistsofablackbodyandabroad∼1keVcomponent,whichisshiftedbyabout230°inphasefromthepulsepeakinthehardbandwhichconsistsofapower-lawandahighlyabsorbedpower-lawcomponent.Assumingthatthemainbeam,whichisdominatedbythepower-lawcomponent,originatesfromthemagneticpolesontheneutronstar,wediscusstheemissionsitesofothercomponentsinthecontextofanX-rayirradiatedaccretiondisk.
