An Apparent Hard X-Ray Decline of CH Cygni
[摘要] CHCygniisasymbioticstarconsistingofanMgiantandanaccretingwhitedwarf,whichisknowntobeahighlyvariableX-raysourcewithacomplex,two-component,spectra.Here,wereportontwoSuzakuobservationsofCHCyg,takenin2006JanuaryandMay,duringwhichthesystemwasseentobeinasoftX-raybright,hardX-rayfaintstate.Basedontheextraordinarystrengthofthe6.4 keVfluorescentFe$$mathrm{K}alpha$$line,weshowthatthehardX-raysobservedwithSuzakuaredominatedbyscattering.
