A CO J = 3–2 Survey of the Galactic Center
[摘要] Wehavesurveyedthecentralmolecularzone(CMZ)ofourGalaxyintheCOJ$$=$$3–2linewiththeAtacamaSubmillimeter-waveTelescopeExperiment(ASTE).MoleculargasintheGalacticcentershowsahighJ$$=3-2/J=1-0$$intensityratio($$sim0.9$$),whilegasinthespiralarmsoftheGalacticdiskshowsalowerratio($$sim0.5$$).Thehigh-velocitycompactcloudCO$$0.02-0.02$$andthehyperenergeticshellCO1.27$$+$$0.01,aswellasgasintheSgrAregion,exhibithighJ$$=$$3–2$$/J=$$1–0intensityratiosexceeding1.5.Wealsofoundanumberofsmallspotsofhigh-ratiogas.Someofthesehigh-ratiospotshavelargevelocitywidthsandsomeseemtobeassociatedwithnonthermalthreadsorfilaments.Thesecouldbespotsofhotmoleculargasshockedbyunidentifiedsupernovae,whichmaybeabundantintheCMZ.
