Stapled Hemorrhoidopexy, Initial Experience in Iran.
[摘要] Purpose::wereportinitialexperienceofstaplinghemorrhoidopexyinIran.Methods::Forty-ninepatientswithsymptomatichemorrhoidsweretreatedinthreemedicalcenters;29withProcedureforProlapseandHemorrhoids(P.P.H)(EthiconEndo-surgery),and20withStraightforwardTransAnalMucohemorrhoidectomy(STRAM-kit)(TycoHealthcare,Norwalk,US).Patientswereprospectivelyevaluatedforpostoperativepain,anorectalfunctionalstatus,morbidityandpostoperativecomplications.Thefollowupperiodwasatleast6months.Results::Forty-ninepatientswereevaluated.Themeanageofthepatientswas49.3years.Therewere23(46.9%)malesand26(53.1%)females.Themediandurationofsymptomwas7.5years.Nomortalitywasreported.Urinaryretentionwasthemostcommoncomplication.Threepatientshaddelayedbleeding.Postoperativepainwasclassifiedaspainless,mild,moderateandsevere.39cases(79.6%)hadamildtomoderatepainrelievedbyanAcetaminophen®tabletorNSAID.Thirty-sixpatients(73.5%)werefullysatisfiedwiththeoperationresult.Allpatientsexceptone(99%)hadreturnedtotheirnormalfunctionallifeandtheirnormalactivitywithin48hourspost-operation.Conclusion::Stapledhemorrhoidopexyisasafeeffectiveprocedurewithlowcomplication,minimalpostoperativepainandearlyrecovery.
