[摘要] Introduction::Propanilisapesticidewithmediumtolowtoxicityformammals,butheavyingestionofthepoisoncanproducesignificantclinicalmanifestation.However,ithasbeenreportedrarelyworldwide.Casereport::A15yearoldgirlingestedpropanilinasuicideattempt.Thepatientdevelopedmethaemoglobinemia,respiratorydistressanddecreasedlevelofconsciousnesswhichneedsintubationandpaediatricintensiveunitmanagement.Discussion::Sincethemechanismsresponsiblefortheclinicalmanifestationofpropanilaretissuehypoxiaandmethaemoglobinemia,thediagnosisandtreatmentofthemcouldbelifesavingforthepatient.
