Effectiveness of a Hypertension Educational Program on Increasing Medication Compliance in Shiraz, 2004
[摘要] Ithasbeenshownthateducationalprogramsareeffectivetoimproveantihypertensivecompliance,butthereareafewstudiesaboutthissubjectindevelopingcountries.TheaimofthisstudywastoexaminetheeffectofeducationondrugcomplianceinhypertensivepatientsinIran.ForthisPurpose,150noncomplianthypertensivepatientsweretaughtthroughtwostages:firstdirecteducationalinterviewinclinicthatshowedthepatientshowtohandletheirproblemintakingdrugs.Thenallcasesdividedrandomlytofourgroupswhichreceivededucationthroughtelephoneconsult,telephoneconsultandeducationalbooklet,educationalbookletandoneducationrespectively.Compliancewasmeasuredbyastandardquestionnairebeforeandaftereducation.Nonparametrictest,analysisofcovarianceandchi-squaretestwereusedtoanalyzedata.P
