Segmental Fracture of the Clavicle (a Very Rare Case in Trauma Surgery).

[摘要] ClavicleistheSshapedcollarbonehavingtwowiderends.Fractureoftheclavicleisacommontraumaticinjuryandcomprises4%ofallfracturesinadults.Amongstthese,mid-shaftinjuriesaccountforthemajorityandmedialfracturesareuncommon.Whilstseg-mentalfractureshavebeenreportedintheliterature,concurrentlateralandmedialinju-riesareveryrare.Mechanismofclavicularfractureincludesfalloveroutstretchedhandanddirecttraumaofshoulder.Thenatureofsegmentalfracturescanposeadifficultmanagementproblemfornumerousreasons,andinitialoperativefixationisusuallyindicated.Earlydiagnosisisthereforeimperative,andassuch,clinicalexaminationisessentialevenifanobviousmidorlateralshaftfractureisseenonX-ray.Wepresentararecaseofsegmentalfractureofclaviclecausedbydirecttrauma.
