Summary on the Seroprevalence of Hepatitis C Among Patients with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, an Implication for Risk by Metanalysis.
[摘要] HepatitisCvirus(HCV)infectionisanincreasingproblem,withmillionspeopleallovertheworldbeinginfected.Itisacceptedasasignificantpublichealthproblemwithseverallifealteringcomplications,especiallyhepatocellularcarcinoma.ThecorrelationbetweenHCVinfectionandnon–Hodgkin’slymphomaisnodoubtatpresent.However,thereportsonthecorrelationbetweenHCVinfectionandHodgkin’slymphomaarestillcontroversy.ThecorrelationbetweenthisvirusinfectionanddevelopmentofHodgkin’slymphomaisofinterest.Here,theauthorperformsanappraisalontheseroprevalenceofHCVamongpatientswithHodgkin’slymphomacomparingwithhealthycontrolsubjects.Riskanalysiswasperformed.Accordingtotheliteraturereview,3reportswererecruited.Accordingtothemetanalysis,184casesand904healthysubjectswereinvestigatedforHCVseroprevalence.TheoverallAntiHCVseropositiverateinthepatients(3/184)andhealthysubjects(6/904)are1.6%and0.7%,respectively.Theoddsratiois2.5.Accordingtothisstudy,itcouldbeseenthathavingAntiHCVseropositiveisaweakriskforHodgkin’slymphoma.
