Intracellular Neutrophil Myeloperoxidas in Myocardial Infarction
[摘要] Abstract:Agrowingbodyofevidencesuggeststhatinflammationmayplayaroleinunstableanginaandacutemyocardialinfarction.Neutrophilactivationhasbeendemonstratedinunstableanginaandacutemyocardialinfarction.Myeloperoxidaseisthemajorconstituentofprimaryazurophilgranulesisneutrophilanddischargedafteractivation.Thechartofthirty-twopatients(female19male13)whowereadmittedincoronarycareunitbecauseofmyocardialinfarctionandunstableanginapectoriswereselected.Myeloperoxidasecontent(MPxI)hadbeendeterminedusingH1hematologyanalyzer.Innormalsubjectsthisindexisabout0andnegativevaluesappearwhentheneutrophilaredepletedofmyeloperoxidase,whichtypicallyhappensafterneutrophilactivation.Riskfactorssuchascurrentsmoking,hypertension,diabetesmellitusandhighcholesterollevelwererecorded.Themeanageofpatientswas65yearsold(female66male64)witharangeof29to91.Leukocytosisandneutrophiliawerepresentin13(40%)and16(50%)respectively.TherangeofESRwasbetween1to28(millimeter/hours)withmean=10.4.ThemeanofMPxIwas-3.04(female-4.5male-1.3,P=0.27).MPxIinpatientswhohadpositiveandnegativehistoryofchronicstableanginawas-5.14and-2.3(P=0.64)respectively.Becausemostofthepatientshadtwoormoreriskfactors,therelationbetweenriskfactorsandMPxI,independently,wasnotpossibletoevaluate.TherewasnocorrelationbetweenamountofcreatinphosphokinaserisingandagewithMPxIvalues.Duringmyocardialischemia,neutrophilactivityisincreased.Furtherstudyisneededfordeterminationwhetherneutrophilactivationiscausedbymyocardialeventorwhetheritisanindependent,primaryevent.
