Comparison of Universal and Risk Factor Based Screening Strategies for Gestational Diabetes Mellitus.

[摘要] Objective:Earlydiagnosisofgestationaldiabetesmellitus(GDM)canavoidsomediabetes-relatedcompli-cations.Aim:Tocomparetheresultsoforalglucosechallengetest(OGCT)inhighriskgroupwithlowriskgroupinIran.MaterialsandMethods:Inaprospectivestudy,universalscreeningforGDMwasperformedonallpreg-nantwomenwitha50gOGCTwith140mg/dlcut-offpoint.Datawereanalyzedbetweenpositiveandnegativegroups.Results:Apositive50gOGCTwasobtainedin16.7%ofthewomen.In4%ofwomen,adiagnosisofGDMwasestablishedbythesubsequentOGTT75g.50.7%ofpatientswithpositiveOGCT50gwouldnothaveriskfactors.Maternalage>30years(P
