The Identification and Classification of Deployment Challenges Related to Electronic Health Records: A Review Article

[摘要] Context:Theimplementationandoperationactivitiesrelatedtoelectronichealthrecords(EHRs)haveincreasedindifferentcountries,andtheirimportanceisclear.However,thedeploymentofanEHRsystemdependsonmanyfactorsthatmustbeconsideredduringimplementation.ThegoalofthisstudywastoidentifyandclassifythechallengesrelatedtoEHRdeployment.EvidenceAcquisition:ThepresentstudyinvolvedaliteraturereviewthatwascarriedoutthroughasearchontheISI,PubMed,DOAJ,Scopus,ScienceDirect,andGoogleScholardatabases,aswellastheGoogleandYahoosearchengines,usingtherelevantMeSHkeywordsandfocusingontheperiodof2005-2015.ThedatawerecollectedinanExcelfileandanalyzedbasedonthestudyobjectives.Results:Fromtheinvestigationofrelatedarticles,wefoundthatthedeploymentofEHRsfacesmanychallengesthatcanbeclassifiedintosixmaincategories.Theseareeconomic,behavioral,human,technical,legal,andorganizationalchallenges.Conclusions:Withregardtotheobtainedresults,itisrecommendedthattheauthoritiesputeffortintoresolvingtheeconomic,behavioral,human,technical,legal,andorganizationalchallengesrelatedtotheimplementationanddeploymentofEHRs.
