Three amine oxides, two aliphatic and one aromatic, and 2,29-dithiodipyridine were found to be weak reversible inhibitors of acetylcholinesterase. 5,59-Dithiobis-(2-nitro-benzoic acid) had no effect on the enzyme under the conditions of the Ellman spectrophotometric assay.
