Cohomological finiteness conditions for a class of metabelian groups

[摘要] This thesis is concerned with the study of certain metabelian groups which can be viewed as split extensions of a free abelian group Q by a finitely generated Q-module A. In particular we want to know which cohomological finiteness properties these groups possess in order to shed further light on the Bieri-Groves conjecture.
