A Study of D-State Upsilon Spectroscopy Using Lattice QCD
[摘要] The theory of nonrelativistic QCD, developed by the NRQCD collaboration, is employed in simulations producing the D states of the upsilon system in the quenched approximation. Correlations are analysed using multi-correlation fitting routines to obtain energies and amplitudes for the ground and first excited states. Since the D states have never been observed, comparison of the simulation results cannot be made with the experimental upsilon spectrum. However various phenomenological potential model studies have been made and their results can be used as an estimation of the D state part of the upsilon spectrum. The D state spectrum at beta = 6.0 is studied in detail and the ground state of 1D2 is studied at beta = 5.7 to test the scaling of the results at the two different lattice spacings.
