An Investigation of the Molecular Genetics of Oxytetracycline Biosynand Resistance in Streptomyces rimosus

[摘要] Prior to the work described in this thesis, an oxytetracycline (OTC) resistance gene, otrA, had been cloned from S. rimosus and sequenced. S1 nuclease mapping experiments suggested that the otrA gene was transcribed from two promoters, 129bp (otrAp1) and 339-344bp (otrAp2) upstream of the translation start codon.
