An approximate Solution of the Laminar Boundary-layer Equation for a Flat Plate

[摘要]  The Blasius equation for a flat plate in uniform laminar flow is solved approximately in a closed form. This solution is simple but in good agreement with the exact solution found by numerical integration. Some applications of this solution are undertaken.
