Studies on the Upper-air Current over Hukuoka

[摘要] I studied statistically the seasonal variation of the direction of the upper air current over Hukuoka, using the pilot-balloon observations for five years. On account of insufficiency of the data, I concluded only to that through all the seasons the winds, having the direction with north-west in clockwise sense on the earth surface, approach westerly wind turning with altitudes clockwise and the winds with west to north turning with altitudes counter-clockwise.
