On Numerical Prediction (II)

[摘要] Considering the spectral function of the height profile of the 500-mb pressure surface at 45°N, we have studied the relations between Charney's method and ours for numerical prediction of the change in pressure patterns. In addition, it is pointed out that the spectral function F (n) of pressure fluctuation may be represented by F (n) ∞ n-7/3, where in is the awve number.
