The Atmospheric Potential Gradient due to the Model Distribution of Electric Charge

[摘要] The atmospheric potential gradient near the earth's surface due to the model distribution of electric eharge was calculated and the results were tabulated or shown graphically in the original text. The potential gradient due to two electric charges, positive and negative respectively and the line connecting them being not perpendicular to the earth's surface, those due to the straight line charge perpendicular to the earth's surface, those due to the charge distributed over a square sheet, those due to the charge over a circular ring were calculated.
