On the Seiches of Lake Hamana-ko. (1st paper)

[摘要] The undulations of water with the period of eleven minutes have been recorded by the tide-guage installed at Maisaka, on the shore of the mouth of Hamanako. In these mareograms are noticed considerably regular oscillations resembling beats. The author has explained them as the seiches of this lake having a fan-shape with a variable depth.
