CORRELATION OF VELOCITY DISTRIBUTIONS IN AN ANCHOR-AGITATED VESSEL USING A BICUBIC B-SPLINE FUNCTION

[摘要] References(16)A surface-fitting method has been developed for the velocity data scattered on a given surface by using a bicubic B-spline function and is applied to data obtained from the analysis of the path lines of tracer particles in an anchor-agitated vessel. This method has been proved to be of great use for expression of the velocity distributions throughout an agitated vessel if sufficient data for path lines are available.
