[摘要] References(12)Cited-By(2)A calculation method is presented to estimate the temperature and the concentration distribution in a catalyst packed bed by finite difference approximation and by use of the local effectiveness factor, taking into consideration the external and internal transport resistance to catalyst particles. The method is applied to the hydrogenation of ethylene and to the oxidation of sulfur dioxide, and is compared with experimental results by us and by Schuler et al.
