CORRELATION AND PREDICTION OF VAPOR-LIQUID AND LIQUID-LIQUID EQUILIBRIA

[摘要] References(28)Cited-By(4)A new expression for the liquid-phase activity coefficient is presented. It is a modification of the quasi-chemical theory. The new equation contains only two adjustable parameters per binary system provided that the coordination number is fixed to be 4 to 6. The capability of the equation is tested with typical nonideal binary systems. Extension of the equation to ternary systems is demonstrated with examples of vapor-liquid and liquid-liquid equilibrium prediction from binary data alone.
