EFFECT OF SUB-COOLING ON FILM-BOILING HEAT TRANSFER
[摘要] References(18)Cited-By(1)The effect of liquid-subcooling on film-boiling heat transfer is estimated theoretically for the range 0.5 ≤Pr ≤2.0, 0.03≤≤ ≤ ≤ 4.0, 0.1 ≤Q (heat flux parameter)≤≤ 2.0 It is observed from the results that the subcooled conditions of the liquid patch exert influence upon heat transfer rates for a practicable range of the heat capacity parameter. This aspect, hitherto not considered, reveals profound influence on the evaporation rates of the liquid patch, under spheroidal conditions. A comparison of the analysis with the experimental data reveals reasonably good agreement, substantiating the theory proposed.
