Changes in Monoamine Oxidase Activity in Rat Liver during Stress

[摘要] References(12)Cited-By(2)Effects of some stresses on monoamine oxidase (MAO) activity in rat liver were investigated. Cold stress decreased MAO-A activity. Immobilization stress (IMMO) significantly decreased both MAO-A and MAO-B activities. The MAO-A/MAO-B ratio of the cold stress was significantly decreased, but IMMO was not significantly decreased. These results suggest that cold stress, but not IMMO may change the proportions of the multiple forms of MAO activity.
