THE ELECTRONIC STRUCTURE OF CARBAMATE DERIVATIVES AS THE INHIBITORS OF CHOLINESTERASE

[摘要] References(28)The inhibition of cholinesterase by some of carbamates has attracted the attention of many researchers in relation to the clinical usefulness (1) and insecticidal activity (2, 3) of the compounds. In this paper the author's chief concern is mainly devoted to investigating the relationship between the electronic structure of several structurally related carbamate type cholinesterase inhibitors and the inhibitory potency of these compounds against true (acetyl) cholinesterase, on the basis of the experiments of Kolbezen et al. (2), Myers et al. (4) and Wilson et al. (5) and to trying to analyse the inhibitory mechanism of them by this means.
