Wave Propagation in Relativistic Electron-Positron Plasmas

[摘要] The study of wave propagation in a plasma provides an invaluable insight into the plasma's fundamental behaviour and structure. In this thesis we study wave propagation in relativistic electron-positron plasmas. The effects of the mass symmetry of the two species on the plasma system are investigated in a regime where the energy of the plasma particles is of the same order of magnitude as their rest energy.
