Multisymplectic Reduction for Proper Actions

[摘要] We consider symmetries of the Dedonder equation arising fromvariational problems with partial derivatives. Assuming a properaction of the symmetry group, we identify a set of reduced equationson an open dense subset of the domain of definition of the fieldsunder consideration. By continuity, the Dedonder equation issatisfied whenever the reduced equations are satisfied.
