Right and Left Weak Approximation Properties in Banach Spaces

[摘要] New necessary and sufficient conditions are established for Banachspaces to have the approximation property; these conditions areeasier to check than the known ones. A shorter proof of a resultof Grothendieck is presented, and some properties of a weakversion of the approximation property are addressed.
