Radiation recall dermatitis: Case report and review of the literature

[摘要] Radiation recall, or radiation recall dermatitis (RRD), has been defined as the “recalling” of previously radiated skin in response to the administration of a certain response-inducing drug.Although it is a relatively well-known phenomenon in the medical world, an exact cause has not been documented.This paper reports a rare occurrence of radiation recall phenomenon in a breast cancer patient following palliative radiotherapy for bone, brain and orbital metastases.
