Popular Culture Media and New Learning Biographies.
[摘要] This dissertation describes the investigation of the role of popular culture and social networking in the educational, personal and work lives of 13 college-age students in a number of countries in the world. The findings are based on an analysis of video interviews and other data collected over a 3-year period and identifies 8 important themes that can inform our understanding of how they view such issues as identity and identification, attitudes to formal education and work, the popular cultural media that they interact with, and the social networking tools they use.
