Simultaneous Estimation of Olmesartan Medoxomil andAmlodipine Besylate in Solid Dosage Form by UVSpectrophotometry

[摘要] Olmesartan medoxomil is an ACE inhibitor and Amlodipine besylate is calcium – channel blocker. Simple, precise, rapid and selective simultaneous equation and Q- analysis UV spectrophotometric methods have been developed for simultaneous determination of Olmesartan medoxomil and Amlodipine besylate from tablet dosage forms. The methods involve solving of simultaneous equations and Q-value analysis based on measurement of absorptivity at 256.8nm, 239nm, 235.6nm respectively. Linearity lies between 5-30μg/ml for both the drugs Olmesartan medoxomil and Amlodipine besylate.
