Synthesis and antimicrobial studies of some novel pyrrolidine chalcones

[摘要] With the aim to synthesize the biologically active molecules a variety of novel pyrrolidine chalcones were synthesized via Claisen-Schmidt condensation of substituted ketones and 4- Pyrrolidin-1-yl-benzaldehyde. These newly synthesized compounds were characterized by physical, chemical and spectral analysis data and are further screened for their antimicrobial activity using different microbes.
