An Immunogenic Antigen of Low Toxicity Derived from Shigella Sonnei

[摘要] A purified antigen was derived from Shigella sonnei by diethylene glycol extraction.It exhibited the chemical properties of a carbohydrate-lipid-complex but displayed a low toxicity with an LD50 in mice greater than 10 mg. It showed good immunogenic capacity in mice.
