Inhibition with Simple Sugars of Hemagglutination of Red Cells Modified with Salmonella Antigens

[摘要] Oligosaccharides will inhibit hemagglutination of erythrocytes modified with antigenic extracts of salmonellas. The method described can be used to determine a possible relationship of a sugar to the structure of an antigen. The relation of certain sugar to the antigens of various salmonella serotypes was discussed.
