Agglutinin Production in Normal, Sublethally Irradiated, and Lethally Irradiated Mice Treated with Mouse Bone Marrow
[摘要] 1. 1. Maximum agglutinin production was attained when the mice were 12 weeks of age.2. 2. The optimum antigen dose to induce the maximum agglutinin response was found to be 1 ml of a 1.0% RBC suspension.3. 3. Isologous bone marrow suspension protected 95% of the lethally x-irradiated mice (950 r).4. 4. The ability to produce sheep agglutinin was recovered 30 days after the lethal irradiation-bone marrow treatment, whereas 60 days were required to produce rat agglutinin.
