Salmonella Atlanta, a New Member of the Salmonella G Group

[摘要] Salmonella atlanta , a new type recovered from the stool of a sick child, has been described. It belongs to the G group and has the formula XIII·XXIII·XXXVI b —; abbreviated XIII·XXIII; b—. It initiated a single factor study of the other members of this group, which now may be differentiated not only by their flagellar antigens but also by the distribution of six partial antigens.
