The Complement Fixation Test in Yellow Fever Epidemiology
[摘要] Marmosets surviving yellow fever infection develop complement-fixing antibodies, which reach a maximum titer in about four to five weeks after infection. These antibodies gradually disappear. Only in one of 26 animals did they persist as long as 360 days. This finding may be applied in epidemiological studies to identify recently infected wild marmosets captured in areas under investigation.
