Allergic Testis Reactions in Guinea Pigs with Coccidioidal Granuloma

[摘要] The testes of guinea pigs with coccidioidal granuloma respond to injections of broth culture filtrates of coccidioides immitis, as do other allergic tissues in the presence of antigen, by the appearance of an acute inflammatory exudate far in excess of that in the tissues of uninfected hosts similarly injected.These results are further evidence that the tissue reactions of hosts with coccidioidal granuloma injected with culture filtrates of coccidioides immitis are allergic.
