A Serologically-Active Erythrocyte-Sensitizing Substance from Typhus Rickettsiae

[摘要] A serologically active substance capable of specific sensitization of erythrocytes, the ESS, has been isolated from typhus rickettsiae by boiling typhus rickettsia-infected yolk-sac material in dilute alkali. No such ESS can be isolated from uninfected yolk sac by the same method.
