Serological Studies with Vibrio Metschnikovii
[摘要] Growth agglutination has been used as a quantitative serological phenomenon for measurement of response of humans to Vibrio metschnikovii .V. metschnikovii is postulated to contain an antigen consisting of a haptene and a heat-labile protein moiety. Saline and growth agglutinins are thought to be directed toward the haptene, while antibodies in the Coombs' anti-globulin test appear to be directed toward the protein portion. The haptene is apparently easily separated from the cell by heat.
