The Effect of High Intensity Electron Bursts on Antibodies

[摘要] 1. 1. Antibodies were irradiated with high intensity electron bursts under varying conditions of environment.2. 2. Differences in radiation sensitivity according to species origin are described. Observed changes could not be correlated with molecular weight, state of purification and the concentration of the antibody in serum.3. 3. A dose-temperature dependence has been demonstrated and a possible explanation for this phenomenon is discussed.4. 4. Effect of dilution on the radiation-inactivation of antibodies has been investigated and its significance evaluated.5. 5. The results are discussed in relation to the target theory of radiation inactivation.
