Two Antigens of High Molecular Weight: Hemocyanins of Limulus Polyphemus and Fulgur Caniculatus

[摘要] The ratio by weight of antibody to antigen in the equivalence zone was determined for two hemocyanins, Limulus polyphemus and Fulgur caniculatus , and compared with that predicted by the authors' formula connecting this ratio with the molecular weight of antigen. The results, 1.23 (σM = 0.067), and 0.68 (σM = 0.025) are significantly lower than the predicted results but definitely of the right order of magnitude.
