Persistence of Passively Administered Homologous and Heterologous Antibody in the Guinea Pig

[摘要] Systemic and local anaphylaxis were passively induced in the guinea pig with known amounts of homologous (guinea pig) and heterologous (rabbit and mouse) antibody. Administration of an increased amount of antibody resulted in more prolonged persistence of sensitivity. Furthermore, sensitivity induced with guinea pig antibody persisted longer, both locally and systemically than that induced with an equal amount of heterologous antibody.
