The Solubility and Other Physicochemical Properties of Human γ-Globulin Labeled with Fluorescein Isothiocyanate

[摘要] The solubility of human γ-globulin, unlike that of albumin and α-β-globulins, is modified by the addition of fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC). The solubility, as well as electrophoretic behavior, of fluorescein-labeled γ-globulin demonstrates a considerable heterogeneity of labeling at the higher conjugation ratios and a more homogeneous labeling at low conjugation ratios. The value of optimum labeling of immune globulin preparations in order to assure specific staining was again underscored.
