The Induced Rejection of Guinea Pig Skin Homografts by a Partially Purified Transfer Factor

[摘要] The effects of a partially purified transfer factor (PTF) on specific guinea pig skin homografts has been described. There is a significant increase in the rate of rejection of such grafts, compared with controls. PTF taken from nonspecifically stimulated animals is inactive, as is that prepared from second-set recipients. There is no obvious correlation between the size of the cutaneous transfer reaction and the anti-graft activity of these preparations.
