Editorial Note

[摘要] It has always been the policy of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Immunology to accept papers on the borderline between immunology and the fields of virus research and chemotherapy. Immunological aspects have always been an important tool for investigation in these two fields. Both virus research and experimental chemotherapy are going through a period of rapid development, and it is felt that neither of them, nor—as a matter of fact—immunology, can satisfactorily progress without intimate knowledge of the developments in the neighboring fields.We also feel that a need exists for additional facilities for the publication of the results in virus and chemotherapeutic research, especially in their relation to protection.Therefore, it has been resolved that papers on these topics will be welcome in our Journal; and in order to accentuate the importance we attribute to the cultivation of the two neighboring fields, the title of The Journal of Immunology will be changed to
