Lymphocyte-Mediated Cytotoxicity against Influenza Virus-Infected Cells: An in Vitro Method

[摘要] A direct test of cell-mediated function is described using a 51Cr release assay for lymphocyte-mediated cytotoxicity (LMC) of influenza virus- (H3hkNeq1) infected tissue culture cells. LMC was detected only in volunteers with serum-neutralizing antibody to H3hkNeq1 influenza virus. A positive correlation between degree of LMC and serum neutralizing antibody titers was found in the tested volunteers.
